Preventative Services: Cleaning—A
Prophylaxis that removes plaque. Bi-Annual Oral
Exams—Identifies trouble areas before they progress. Annual X-Rays—Taken
on the same visit as one of the cleanings; these films will detect
decay. Panoramic/Full
Mouth X-Ray—Taken every 3-5 years. Fluoride—Applied
twice a year, this topical application fights decay.
